The 6C 2500 was Alfa Romeo’s ultimate development of the 6C series prior to World War II. The 6C’s were available in a wide range of styles, from luxurious sedans to full on competition cars. Indeed, a 6C 2300 won the touring car class and 4th overall at the 1937 Mille Miglia, demonstrating the sporting capability and durability of the 6C. Among the most sporting variants was the 6C 2500SS Corsa, which, in addition to being highly tuned, was also produced in very limited numbers. While not as fast as the supercharged 8C’s, the naturally aspirated engine and lighter weight of the 6C made it ideal for longer events like the Mille Miglia because of its superior fuel economy.

This car was beautifully restored from 1994 to 1997 by Knute Kolmann, with paint and bodywork by Brian Hoyt of Perfect Reflections and interior by Ken Nemenick. Since then, it has been carefully stored and looked after, and remains in spectacular condition.

This car is an absolutely stunning example that won 2nd in class at the 1997 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Best In Show at the 1998 Italiano Concorso.

This is an extremely unique opportunity to acquire a hugely appealing car that will permit its owner entrance to the world’s most prestigious events, as well as an exclusive circle of pre-war Alfa Romeo ownership. Spectacularly restored, this car has a rare presence that is very difficult to be conveyed through words or pictures.
