Cisitalia Abarth 204 #7 Homepage $595,000.00

Dr. Sergin Lugo of Argentina has researched and documented all of the 204 Chassis. Upon arriving Argentina 204- 07 began an active racing career. Some of the results Dr. Lugo has uncovered;
1000 kms of City of Buenos Aires 1955: Abarth 204 # 07 Ernesto Tornquist (Emart)- Patricio Badaracco, car # 48. Lellio Castelli: Abarth 204 # 07, many sport races in Argentina. The period photos included in the gallery are provided from the archive of and with the generous courtesy of Dr. Lugo. This archive confirms this cars history beyond doubt.
In approximately 1988/89, the respected automotive historian Stan Nowak discovered 07 while traveling in Argentina. The car was imported to the US, but due to Mr. Nowak’s untimely death the car was placed in storage for many years. In 1996 research and a subsequent extensive restoration was undertaken at Tillack & Co. Ltd.
The body of research that was compiled during restoration is extraordinary. This is accompanied by a comprehensive photo archive of the restoration. In addition and almost unbelievably the original log book and Cisitalia sales invoice have been preserved. All research and restoration documentation is available on the premises for inspection
.The completed car was returned to the race track at the 1998 Monterey Historic Races driven by Steven Tillack. While on display at the Monterey Historic races, Pebble Beach Chief Judge, Glen Monger requested that 204-07 return the following year for display at the 1999 Concours d’Elegance where it received a second place.
