4.0 Liter GTO Recreation s/n 6713 Over the last 20 years, numerous GTO replicas have been built. Very few have been built to a genuinely high standard, the majority are turned out to somewhat varying lesser levels. The unique construction and complexity of the original GTO, dictate that most replicas are based on a lesser “donor” car and become a compromise between originality and the cost of construction. Ferrari 250GT by Drogo. The chassis and engine numbers are 1717GT. This chassis originally left the factory with a Pinninfarina Coupe body. Subsequent to a crash in the early 1960’s the chassis was shortened by Vaccari in Modena and rebodied by Piero Drogo's Carrozzeria Sportscars with mechanical upgrade to full GTO specification. Six carburetors, 5 speed gearbox, Watts link rear suspension, etc. Approximately 8 years ago, a full restoration was carried out in the UK. Price on Request. |

Abarth Osella SE021 S/N 0021 The 1972 FIA European 2 Liter Sports Car Championship for Makes was dominated by the new Abarth SE021. The Abarth team Drivers Arturo Merzario, Derek Bell and Tone Hezemans won both the Manufacturers and Drivers championship. The final race of the season at Silverstone, saw Merzario lap the entire field to win the drivers championship and clinch the manufacturer’s title for Abarth.Chassis number 0021 is Tony Hezeman’s, 1972 Vallelunga winning factory team car. Following a period of approximately 20+ years on display at the famous Rosso Bianco museum, a full bare chassis restoration was completed in 2008. The car still retains the correct, original Abarth twin cam engine which has been completely rebuilt. The restoration has been fully photo documented and engine rebuild is accompanied by dyno test results. Following testing at Buttonwillow Raceway and one club race at Laguna Seca the car has run at the 2008 and 2009 Monterey Historic Races. The car has been inspected by FIA representative Jeremy Hall and has been issued FIA Historic Technical Passport for participation in all international historic competition events.
